Beginning to Look at Colleges (Advice Needed)

Colleges


I'm just out of my sophomore year of high school and I have to go look at colleges. I know I have to go to an in state college because I won't have the funding otherwise.

My College Hit List:

  • Fullsail University (Winter Park, Florida)
  • University of Central Florida (Orlando, Florida)
  • Rollins College (Winter Park, Florida)
  • University of South Florida (Tampa or St. Petersburg, Florida)
  • University of Tampa (Tampa, Florida)


    • Does anyone have any advice for me? Do I take a portfolio with me when I visit? What should I be looking for?

    I'm most likely going to enter into graphic design, video game design, or video editing. I might do photography as well.

    If I don't go into the arts, I'll most likely go into the sciences.

Well, if I get the Bright Futures scholarship, my tuition will be completly covered with a public university and 75% covered with a privite university.

I might end up going to community college for two years and then transferring out, but I would like to avoid that route because the community college near me is filled with redneck high school dropouts (lol Pasco county :bucktooth:).
