Oh my God. I am so sorry that I haven't posted anything in a few months. I've been on every day, but I really haven't been motivated to do stuff. I've been swamped at school, and by the time I get home I don't want to do anything.

So, art has been going good for me. I'm trying to build up a portfolio so that I can begin to start the process of applying for colleges. In the last three months I've done everything from portraits to cityscapes, to still life, to Chinese brush strokes. And that's only in my 2D class. I made a dragon in 3D that took about 30 hours of work. I'll post pictures as soon as I get him home.

Um... What else? Nothing much have been going on, really. Most of my in school friends are graduating this year, so I'm trying to keep my emotions under check because this next semester will be a rough one for me, especially as graduation draws near. And these last three months have gone by way too fast for my liking.

My birthday is this weekend. I'm gonna be 17. Woo. :XD:

Oh. I'm also doing NaNoWriMo this year. I have no idea how I am going to write 50K words by the end of November, but I'm gonna do it!

Another School Year Already?


School started for me last week. I already have homework to do. Honestly it's not going to be that bad this semester because I have two art courses (And they're back-to-back). My art classes are awesomesauce. =D

Actually, all of my classes are pretty cool (Except for math, I hate math :bleh:). My physics class is going to be like my chemistry class part two. I'm sort of afraid to be around my classmates and power tools. Needless to say, I'm going to see if I can work alone for a lot of the class.

This is the last year of high school for the majority of my friends. They're graduating this year. :<

Art Updates


Sorry I haven't been posting any art at all. I've been drawing, but they've been mainly of my fan characters. The characters themselves aren't that bad, but I still want to avoid posting them if I can.

But the good news is that we're doing projects in my art classes, so you'll be getting to see some art from me that isn't drawings or photography. I'm being forced to expand my horizons, and I'm loving it.

Speaking of photography, I'm going to see if I can get someone to take me to school extra early one day (Yea, I'm going to be 17 and I don't even have my permit. orz) so that I can take pictures of the sun rise. My school is out in the middle of nowhere and across the street is a field that gets all foggy first thing in the morning. It looks awesome and I've been wanting to take pictures for years now.

Beginning to Look at Colleges (Advice Needed)

Colleges


I'm just out of my sophomore year of high school and I have to go look at colleges. I know I have to go to an in state college because I won't have the funding otherwise.

My College Hit List:

  • Fullsail University (Winter Park, Florida)

  • Rollins College (Winter Park, Florida)
  • University of South Florida (Tampa or St. Petersburg, Florida)
  • University of Tampa (Tampa, Florida)


    • Does anyone have any advice for me? Do I take a portfolio with me when I visit? What should I be looking for?

    I'm most likely going to enter into graphic design, video game design, or video editing. I might do photography as well.

    If I don't go into the arts, I'll most likely go into the sciences.

I'm Not Dead!

I attempted to make a journal several times, but for some reason dA is being estupido and I haven't been able to post one. :<

So, school is out and art production is up. I will be posting some photography and drawings soon.
